It’s not a big deal

We all know that the world is a playground and we are here to play (and have fun) when we are kids but as we grow up we somehow tend to forget it.
We have a lot to learn from kids. They laugh ,they cry, and they are true to themselves. They fight with you for a minute, then they forget all about it.They go on about their day as if nothing happened. It is very difficult for an adult to do that.
Why? Because we make a big deal out of it.We give ourselves so much of importance that we cannot take a prank, nor can we laugh at ourselves.Laugh at yourself when you make a mistake. It is not a big deal, everyone makes mistakes. When someone else makes the same mistake, it will be a  reminder for you.
The ranks or grades in school.Remember those? Everyone makes such a big fuss about the grades in school ,but honestly what difference does it make now?It is not as important as it seemed at that point of time.
Choices and not grades make you who you are.
I used to dread the open houses and results when I was a kid, but when I look back at it, I realize it was because I thought it was very very important. When I look at it now, all I see is a bunch of numbers printed on a piece of paper.
The hype surrounding the Board examinations, the college you go to, the course that you undertake are all immaterial. At the end of it all, you do what you want to do.
